What is an Anti-Fragile Organization? I had to carry a Piano as check-in baggage on my recent trip to Sydney. It had a lot of stickers, saying ‘Fragile–Handle with care’. That set me thinking. What do we call items which we don’t label as fragile. Strong, Unbreakable, etc? Are they opposites of Fragile, While we tend to think of such characteristics for these items, actually they are not the opposite. They are only attributes on a range of stress that can be applied before they break. Fragile is at one extreme. If on the other hand. we apply our thoughts to breaking or the weakening process under stress before ultimately breaking, then the opposite of Fragile would be that which strengthens/becomes stronger/harder under stress...
